What it Takes, 2025

This artefact is a graphic narrative built from real case notes and kaimahi workshops.

It follows the journey of Pania and her pēpi Mātai as they navigate a Well Child Tamariki Ora service under intense pressure at home. Their story reveals what it takes to provide relational care that genuinely flexes in response to need.

Created as a learning tool for system leaders and funders, it makes visible the resilience, dedication, very real system friction and everyday workarounds often hidden within frontline work.
